Deputy Treasurer

Waushara County is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Deputy Treasurer. The Deputy Treasurer assists in carrying out the statutory functions of the Treasurer’s department; This is a clerical position under the supervision of the Treasurer. Performs a variety of complex bookkeeping and clerical duties as described in the Wisconsin Statutes in accordance with State Laws and County regulations; and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public. Appointed by the Treasurer. This position is deputized to perform the duties of the Treasurer and an oath of office is taken and recorded every four years. Requires an Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field. Experiences in banking will also be considered. Wage $20.85-$22.12/hr. (based on relevant experience).
