Under the guidance of the Patrol Sergeant, the Deputy Sheriff is responsible for protecting the life and safety of residents; protecting resident property; enforcing laws, rules, ordinances and regulations; investigating crimes and violations; and providing assistance and response to emergency situations, as required.
