Deputy Sheriff

Fill Vacancy and Create List. Patrol and enforce all county, state and federal laws; apprehend suspects, prepare investigation reports and overall protection of citizens of Marinette County. Qualifications: United States citizenship; established residency within 15 miles of Marinette County boundaries within 60 days of hire; one of the following: (1) Associate’s Degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice, Corrections, Security or Law Enforcement from an accredited college or university OR (2) 60 fully accredited college level credits; 21 years of age or older; no felony convictions, unless the judgment of conviction has been reversed or a complete pardon has been granted; insurance acceptable WI drivers license within 60 days of hire. Certifiable, having completed Department of Justice Training and Standards requirement for law enforcement officers prior to official offer of employment. 07/01/2026 Pay Scale: $32.97 – $37.52. 2027 Pay Scale: $33.96 – $38.65.
