Waushara County is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Deputy Register of Deeds. The Deputy Register of Deeds assists in carrying out the statutory functions of the Register of Deed’s department; to plan and coordinate the department’s function of providing the proper processing, recording, and maintenance of real estate land records, vital records and military discharges in Waushara County as required by Wisconsin State Statutes; and to provide responsive, courteous, and efficient service to County residents and the general public. This position is appointed by the Register of Deeds and deputized to perform the duties of the Register of Deeds and an oath of office is taken and recorded every four years. The perfect candidate would have an Associate degree in Office Administration or related field. Experience in real estate and/or title work will also be considered. Starting wage $20.85 – $22.12/hr.
