Deputy Clerk of Court
The part-time [21-28 hours/week] Deputy Clerk of Court will provide administrative support in the Clerk of Court office, initiate, maintain and preserve records, documents, files and exhibits for civil, criminal, traffic, small claims, child support and other judicial proceedings.
Individual will open and maintain cases into the CCAP system, transmit dispositions electronically, prepare court case files for the daily court calendar, assist with all small claims, civil and family related procedures, assist in executing duties involved with traffic cases/court, process passport applications, prepare cash or signature bonds for defendants and maintain warrant records.
Applicant must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent. Education and training in legal administrative assistant and one to two years of work experience in a law office, good computer skills or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
