Deputy Assistant District Attorney

Performs complex executive work litigating cases as assigned by the District Attorney on behalf of the State of Wisconsin, consulting and advising law enforcement agencies and personnel on investigative issues, and related work as apparent or assigned.  Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the District Attorney.  Limited supervision is exercised over Paralegal, Legal Secretary, Victim/Witness Coordinator, and Limited-Term Employee.

QUALIFICATIONS: Juris Doctorate in law, or related field and moderate experience in criminal litigation, criminal court, municipal court, or similar legal background.  Possession of State of Wisconsin Law Practice License certification upon hire.  Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

WAGE: $39.81 per hour. Adams County offers a generous benefits package.
