Dementia Care Specialist (Part-Time)
Performs intermediate human supports for people with dementia and their caregivers in order to ensure the highest quality of life possible for people living with dementia. Helps to develop dementia-friendly communities where people with dementia can remain active and safe and caregivers can feel supported. Assist the general public, and particularly older adults, adults who have physical or intellectual/developmental disabilities, and caregivers with information and possible referral to a wide range of community resources, assists in connecting them to public and privately funded programs, services, and other options.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, human services, or related field and moderate experience in State and Federal support programs, social work, administrative operations, human services, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.
Starting wage is $22.42 per hour.
