Court Bailiff

Jackson County is accepting applications to fill a Court Bailiff position. This position is responsible for maintaining order and providing courtroom security through custody of inmates and control of courtroom activity. This position will act in the scope of a Jackson County Law Enforcement deputy providing law enforcement services.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess an Associate’s degree or a minimum of 60 college credits in criminal justice or related field preferably. Persons may be grandfathered in with Wisconsin Training and Standards or must be Wisconsin Law Enforcement certified or certifiable.

2022 LTE Wage: $21.35 – $24.40 per hour and is non-benefited. Hours will vary Monday through Friday. No weekends, nights or holidays.
