Cost Accountant / Payroll Specialist

The purpose of this position is to perform cost accounting, to properly allocate department wages, equipment and project numbers to all State, County and Municipal road projects/construction, to maintain and monitor costing data, to prepare and administer department payroll and to assist with management of fiscal/office activities. The work is performed under the direction of the Highway Commissioner.
