Coordinated Services Supervisor
Description
Performs difficult, advanced human support work supervising and coordinating treatment, recovery, and support services of County supported programs, monitoring federal and department guidelines, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Coordinated Services Manager and Clinical Services Manager.
Essential Qualifications
A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services Field is preferred. A bachelor’s degree with five (5) or more years of progressive experience and responsibility, may be accepted. A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience or five (5) or more years of experience in direct practice working with children, adults and families with issues of mental health and/or substance abuse could be accepted in lieu of supervisory experience. Working knowledge of the principles of assessment, intake and access to services. Requires the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and stressful environment focusing on client treatment and rehabilitation. Requires the ability to maintain client, staff and agency information confidentiality. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

Thorough knowledge of County and department policies and procedures including emergency and inclement weather policies; ability to prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent projects; attention to detail and ability to effectively organize time and anticipate, plan and successfully respond to changing circumstances; ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; ability to operate and use standard office equipment; knowledge and ability to use standard office and position-specific software; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, other departments and the general public.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently requires repetitive motions and occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms and lifting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and exposure to bloodborne pathogens and may be required to wear specialized personal protective equipment; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens is considered low for this position.
