CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILIES SERVICES (CYFS) SUPERVISOR – CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES (CPS)
Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Children, Youth & Families Services (CYFS) Supervisor position within the Department of Human Services – CYFS Division. This position will specifically be supervising Child Protective Services (CPS). The job duties of the CYFS Supervisor – CPS position include but are not limited to: assisting the Director and Children, Youth, and Families Services Division Manager(s) in overall leadership, supervision and management of the Human Services Department. The primary responsibilities include: supporting and coaching Social Work staff, designing a continuum of services, and coordinating programs.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or closely related human services field required. State of Wisconsin Social Work Certification/Licensure or Professional Counselor License (LPC) required upon hire. Three (3) years of recent professional human services work experience related to the area of Child Protective Services and/or Delinquency Services required. Experience in mental health and substance use and the impact of individuals and families preferred. Experience in children and youth services at the county level preferred. Management/supervisory/lead worker experience preferred. A valid driver’s licenses is required and a cell phone is recommended. Starting Wage: $36.07 – $40.08 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $48.10 per hour
