Jackson County DHHS is seeking to fill a Behavioral Health Social Worker I/II position. Job duties would include, but are not limited to, assessing needs of clients, establishing service plans, providing crisis intervention, advocating for clients/families, and working with a team of informal and formal supports to support the client. This position would be mainly serving youth or adults in the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS), Children’s Long-Term Support Program (CLTS), or Coordinated Services Team (CST), but would also help with back-up coverage for the Crisis program that serves youth and adults. The position would not include any on-call work.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license. Must hold a valid Wisconsin Social Work Certification. If not certified at the time of application for employment, must have applied to the State of Wisconsin for a Temporary or Training Certificate prior to starting employment and obtain certification within six months of hire.
