Behavioral Health Nurse
Marquette County Department of Human Services has an opening for a part time (approximately 30 hrs./wk.) Registered Nurse in our clinical services unit. This position collaborates with clinic staff and psychiatrist to develop and monitor effective psychotropic medication regimens.
Coordinates medical support to doctors including lab work, medication orders, prior authorization, and consents.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing, current Wisconsin licensure as a registered nurse and current CPR certification with the ability to successfully maintain the required license and certification. One year of nursing experience, ideally with a mental health population, strongly preferred. Applicants must have the capacity to freely move in the community, including possession of a valid driver’s license, appropriate insurance and access to a motor vehicle. Applicants must pass background checks.
Salary range is $25.82-28.86/hr. dependent upon qualifications. Competitive benefit package available.
