Behavioral Health Nurse

This position provides nursing consultation to the Community Support Program. Administers and monitors medication treatment required according to consumer Treatment Plan. Provides follow along and case management to assigned clients. Provides, assessments and monitoring of health problems during a crisis or on a maintenance basis. Recognizes medical or emotional crises or emergencies, make a knowledgeable nursing assessment and enable an appropriated resolution of the problem. Visit consumers in their natural environment for the purpose of assessing and monitoring prescribed medications and providing supportive psychotherapy.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Nursing or Behavioral Sciences. Licensure and current registration with the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

STARTING WAGE: $29.98 per hour. Juneau County offers a generous benefits package.
