Job Description:

Primary duties for the Assistant Maintenance Technician position involve the maintenance, repair and general cleaning and upkeep of the Government Center. Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical trades; basic computer skills, ability to lift light to heavy weight objects on a sporadic basis, and prior experience with air chillers preferred. Direct supervision is provided via the Maintenance Technician.

Qualifications include high school diploma or GED or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Previous experience in the repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment is preferred. Must have valid driver license, reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.

2022 Wage scale for this position is $ 17.27 to $19.74 per hour. This position will work 40 hours per week with a complete benefit package included and will be on a rotating on call schedule. This position is primarily a 2nd shift position.
