Aging & Disability Resource Center Supervisor
Performs difficult, advanced human support work supervising and coordinating requirements of the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), serving Adams County residents and their families. Manages the day-to-day operations and oversees ARDC personnel functions/activities of the ADRC in order to achieve the goals that support the mission (includes input into personnel hiring, discipline and evaluation); vision and strategies; and assists in budget development and monitoring. Provides oversight of the ADRC Core Functions as defined in the ADRC Contract. Provides support for people with dementia and their caregivers in order to ensure the highest quality of life possible for people living with dementia. Helps to develop dementia-friendly communities where people with dementia can remain active and safe and caregivers can feel supported. Assist the general public, particularly older adults, adults who have physical or intellectual/developmental disabilities, and caregivers with information and possible referral to a wide range of community resources, assists in connecting them to public and privately funded programs, services, and other options. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Aging and Disability Services Manager.
