ADRC Resource Specialist

ADRC RESOURCE SPECIALIST. Waushara County is recruiting a friendly, motivated applicant with great customer service skills interested in a meaningful position with the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Waushara County. An ADRC Resource Specialist helps empower older adults, or those with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities, make informed choices and streamline access to appropriate services and support, including long-term care and functional eligibility determination. Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field and 1-3 years related experience. Competitive pay, ranging from $24.57-$26.07 hour to start, comprehensive benefits including a county contribution to the Wisconsin Retirement System, and a new office facility with private office space. What You’ll Do: Perform ADRC contract core services including marketing and outreach, information and assistance, long-term care options counseling and screening, managed care eligibility determination, enrollment and disenrollment counseling, short-term service coordination, and provide transitional services support for students and youth entering the adult service system.
