Administrative Specialist
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to provide fiscal, administrative and programmatic documentation support to the Human Services Department to include the ADRC Unit. For the ADRC Unit, duties may include reception, taking routine intake calls, tracking and entering program data on spreadsheets and databases, pulling data reports, coordinating volunteer drivers and other program coordination support functions. Fiscal and data/administrative work for the department may include reception, entering client data into TCM and PPS, uploading data to state systems, assisting staff in using the TCM system, pulling TCM reports as needed, processing provider contracts, processing accounts payable, routine fiscal reconciliations, reviewing timesheets, routine state fiscal reporting, processing deposits, maintain CCS Provider documentation and preparing spreadsheets and other routine program reports, and other fiscal work. The work is performed under the supervision of either the Fiscal Manager or ADRC Supervisor, depending on assignment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of college or vocational/technical degree in administrative support, data management, accounting or bookkeeping, at least two years of experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Computer experience required including experience in spreadsheet application and word processing.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
The 2021 wage range for this full-time (80 hours bi-weekly), non-exempt position is $16.98 per hour to $23.16 per hour (step 20). The expected starting hourly wage is $16.98 per hour to $19.30 per hour (step 4) depending upon qualifications. Trempealeau County’s compensation plan considers annual wage step increases.
