Administrative Assistant III – Sheriffs Admin
Chippewa County is currently accepting applications from an Administrative Assistant III – Transcription/ TRACs/Warrants within the Sheriff’s Department. The job duties of the Administrative Assistant III include but are not limited to provide administrative support functions with some clerical duties under the supervision of the Office Manager – Sheriff; and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a closely related field, and a minimum of two (2) years of recent administrative or customer service work experience in a law enforcement, public safety, or government agency setting required -OR- High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of recent administrative or customer service work experience in a law enforcement, public safety, or government setting required. Starting Wage: $24.08 – $26.17per hour depending on qualifications PLUS an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $31.40 per hour.
