Are you detail oriented, organized, and enjoy working with others? If so, the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Monroe County might have the job for you. We are hiring for a 20 hours per week part-time Administrative Assistant. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent with two year’s clerical support work experience. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.

Our Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the ADRC and provides courteous and efficient customer service. This position greets, receive, and screens visitors and customers. This position also addresses and resolves customer questions and concerns as able and refers complex inquires, requests, or complaints to the appropriate staff. Our Administrative Assistant is also responsible for composing general and confidential correspondence and reports; proofreading and editing documents; and sorting, copying, and distributing a variety of correspondence, deliveries, and mail. This position will also maintain electronic filing, paper filing, and record systems.
