Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist

Jackson County DHHS is seeking to fill an Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist position. This position will perform a variety of fiscal and clerical duties that call for a knowledge of agency policies and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to: receive, log, and post large amounts of data to computerized systems; assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses; and assist in the preparation of agency policies and procedures.

Requirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Accounting or related field and two (2) years’ experience in an accounting position. Must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and have access to transportation suitable to complete necessary work out of the office. 2024 Wage Range: $20.10 – $22.97 hourly, plus excellent County benefit package and State retirement.
