Accountant l – Sheriff’s Office
Chippewa County is accepting applications for an Accountant I position within the Sheriff’s Office. The job duties of the Accountant I – Sheriff include but are not limited to assist the fiscal functions within the Sheriff’s Office under the direction of the Assistant Finance Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance with two (2) years accounting related work experience required, -OR-
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance with six (6) years accounting related work experience required
• Valid driver’s license required.

Starting Wage: $27.59 – $29.99 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $35.99 per hour.
