80% Administrative Support – Human Service Dept.

Oneida County is accepting applications to fill a part-time (32 hours per week) Administrative Support position, located at the Courthouse location of the newly created Human Service Department. Oneida County Human Service is a Trauma Informed Agency that empowers, educates and supports agency staff to provide services in a caring, compassionate and safe environment. Work involves determination of client needs, provisions of appropriate services, and referral of clients to other resources and programs as needed.

JOB DUTIES: This position performs a variety of clerical tasks requiring excellent organizational and typing skills. Duties also include providing customer service in person and on the phone, along with assisting agency staff with various duties.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified individuals must have a high school degree or equivalent, with course work in typing and office skills. Work experience in an office setting with dictation and volume typing is preferred. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, self-motivated, have excellent computer skills, and the ability to provide customer service while observing a high level of confidentiality.

WAGES AND BENEFITS: Starting 2025 wage for this position is $20.81 per hour plus excellent benefit package, including Wisconsin Retirement benefits, affordable health, dental and vision insurance and a PTO (Paid Time Off) package with the ability to carry unused PTO into future years.

WORK HOURS AND SCHEDULE: Position works 32 hours per week. The position would work hours over the course of Monday through Friday, with some flexibility on hours worked within the normal Courthouse hours of operation.
