2026 Seasonal Truck Driver

Chippewa County is currently accepting applications for 2026 Seasonal Truck Driver position (Operator II) within the Highway Department. The job duties include but are not limited to: safely operator patrol/haul trucks as per licensed and other assigned light and heavy construction equipment machinery and tools for highway and bridge maintenance and construction, sand and gravel mining. To provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public.

2026 Season begins: Monday, April 27th through late October 2026.

Seasonal employment that averages 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Class A or B CDL without restrictions E and L required
• A cell phone is required

Compensation:
