2026 Seasonal Flagger

Chippewa County is currently accepting applications for 2026 Seasonal Flagger position (Traffic Control Technician) within the Highway Department. The job duties include but are not limited to: providing traffic control of highway/bridge maintenance and construction projects. To provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public.

2026 Season begins: Monday, April 27th through late October 2026.

Seasonal employment that averages 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be 18 years old
• Valid driver’s licenses
• A cell phone is required

Compensation:
• Starting Wage: $21.39 per hour. *This is a non-benefit position.
