2024 Seasonal Parks Maintenance Technician – Docks Installation
Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks Maintenance Technician position within the Facilities and Parks Division. The job duties of the Parks Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to performing maintenance and construction tasks with lead worker supervisory responsibilities under the supervision of the Parks Manager.
Primary duties include but are not limited to: dock instillation of 29 New Docks.
Docks Installation position will begin: April 15th 2024 until the end of June 2024; unless the installation is completed sooner.
A maximum of 175 hours is allotted for the installation of the New Docks. A minimum of 15 hours per week is required; 40 hours per week is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. An Associates degree in a Construction field, forestry, or small engine maintenance technology desired. Four (4) years construction, forestry, or small engine maintenance work required. Minimum of two (2) years equipment operation (skid steer, back hoe, dump truck, loader, etc.). Starting Wage: $24.29 per hour. *This is a non-benefited position.
