The Chippewa County Department of Land Conservation & Forest Management is seeking an Engineering Cooperative Student. Focus includes agricultural pollution control; mine site reclamation; hydrology; and urban storm water management. Specific emphasis in construction inspection, field surveys (topographic), design and CAD, and engineering review.
This position is seasonal, non-recurring, and limited term and requires up to 40 hours per week during a period of May – November 2023 for a commitment of 975 hours.

Minimum Qualifications: H.S. diploma/GED required. Must be currently enrolled at an institution of higher education and pursuing a degree in civil engineering, biosystems/biological engineering, environmental engineering, agricultural engineering, or other related course of study. Knowledge and/or experience in the fundamentals of surveying (GPS), construction techniques and materials, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS software preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
