Chippewa County is accepting applications for an Options Counselor position within the Department of Human Services – Aging and Disability Resource Center Division. The job duties of the Options Counselor include but are not limited to providing the following types of services to older adults, persons with disabilities, and their families, friends, caregivers and advocates: information and assistance, options counseling, access to publicly funded long-term care programs and services, transitional services for students, consumer and ADRC advocacy, and outreach activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Health or Human Services related field required.
• State of Wisconsin Long Term Care Functional Screen Certification -AND-
Certified Memory Screener within one (1) year of hire required.
• Certified Options Counselor within six (6) months of hire required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working with older persons, adults with disabilities or family caregivers.
• A valid driver’s licenses required.

Starting Wage: $32.05 – $34.84 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $41.81 per hour
