Park Ranger & Maintenance Tech- Temporary

Description : The Pierce County Parks Department is accepting applications for temporary positions at Nugget Lake County Park. These summer positions include (2) Park Rangers and (2) Park Maintenance Technicians. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. All positions require rotational weekends, evenings and holidays, with 2 consecutive days off and
as needed. Must be able to communicate effectively with the public to sell vehicle permits, take reservations and register campers. Experience with park maintenance equipment such as a zero-turn mower, weed whip and common hand tools is preferred. Must be available to work from late May through the end of August. There may be opportunity to work before and/or
after this time period. Pay range will be $16.29 per hour depending on experience and abilities. All positions are expected to work 40 hours a week and no benefits will be offered. Internship credit available for Park Ranger position.
