Casual Animal Shelter Worker

Jackson County is seeking qualified candidates to fill a casual animal control position. This position will be responsible for animal care and client services at the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Job duties include, but are not limited to, responding to animal related emergency calls; feeding, watering and providing personal care to detained animals and cleaning and maintaining kennel areas. This position would average 15-20 hours per week.

Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must possess and maintain valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and have access to transportation suitable to complete necessary work out of the office. Starting wage is $13.00 per hour and does not include benefits.
