TREATMENT COURT COORDINATOR

The Treatment Court Coordinator, reporting to the Behavioral Health Services Manager, works within Kenosha County’s Division of Behavioral Health Services. The Treatment Court Coordinator is responsible for working with participants in Kenosha County’s Treatment Court. The Coordinator manages program eligibility, coordination with treatment providers, acts as liaison to the presiding treatment court judge, and follows state and National Treatment Court standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the legal system as well as recovery-based programs. Strong, positive communication skills are essential.

2024 Hiring Range: $58,181 – $69,263 annually
Position Summary and Job Duties
• Review all referrals to the court for program eligibility and coordinate participant program assessments
• Provide the initial point of contact for the participants and conduct their orientation to Treatment Court
• Work with participants to coordinate referral and intake to the CCS program and identify any barriers to the success of the participant including housing, insurance, and other benefits
• Consult with Probation and Parole agents on weekly progress reports
• Prepare weekly reports
• Facilitate the Treatment Court Policy and Procedure meeting, set agenda, and send out meeting minutes
• Maintain urinalysis authorization and monitor and track urinalysis results and sanctions
• Maintain the participant color line calendar for urinalysis notification by 6 AM daily
• Attend weekly court hearings
• Monitor and track all bus passes and participant incentives
• Register court members for the State and National Conferences
• Maintain program brochures, website, applications, and manuals
• Help ensure program adherence to state and national standards
• Participate in completion of quarterly reports to the state
• Coordinate and complete program assessments
• Perform other work as required or assigned

Job Requirements, Education, Training and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders preferred
• Legal system knowledge and experience preferred
• Certified peer support specialist or recovery mentor experience preferred
• Criminogenic screening and assessments knowledge preferred
• Or any combination of equivalent education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
