Job Description:

This position is responsible for coordinating compliance with victim and witness rights under the Wisconsin Constitution and Chapter 950 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. The Victim Witness Coordinator serves as a liaison to the public and to other departments within the criminal justice system regarding victim and witness issues. This position ensures that necessary support and assistance is provided to the victim throughout the Court process.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree from an accredited college in Paralegal Studies or related field of study and three (3) years of legal support work experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered for the job. Must be able to obtain Certified Victim/Witness Professional status within six (6) months from date of hire. Must successfully pass criminal background check.

STARTING WAGE: $24.29 per hour. Juneau County offers a generous benefits package.
