Are you detail oriented, organized, and enjoy working with others? If so, the Monroe County Justice Programs Department might have the job for you. We are hiring for a full-time Administrative Assistant. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent with two year’s clerical support work experience. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.

Our Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to Justice Programs and provides courteous and efficient customer service. This position schedules client appointments and assists with reviewing the court calendar and organizing files for review hearings. This position also processes participants’ materials, monitors compliance records, distributes proper forms, and maintains participant paper and electronic files. Our Administrative Assistant is also responsible for processing confidential information including assessments and drug test results.
