Accountant

The full-time Accountant is responsible for various financial tasks, including data entry, financial reporting, reconciliation, and other general accounting functions involved in the development, maintenance, and review of county funds and fiscal accounts. This position collaborates with other county bookkeeping staff to ensure accurate and efficient financial record maintenance.

Applicants for this position should possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in government accounting. Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
