Community Health Specialist

DUTIES: Performs intermediate-advanced human support work facilitating the implementation of community-focused initiatives to promote health and prevent disease, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Public Health Officer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, epidemiology, or related field and moderate experience in public health, social services, health care, education, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Obtain Incident Command System 100 and 200 training and National Incident Management System 700 training within 6 months of hire. Obtain Incident Command System 300 and 400 training within 1 year of hire. Valid driver’s license in the State of Wisconsin.

STARTING WAGE: $23.97 per hour. Adams County offers a generous benefits package.
