Social Services Aide

Jackson County DHHS is seeking a full-time Children and Family Social Services Aide. Under the supervision of the Children and Family Manager, provides a variety of social service functions which include receiving and documenting Child Protective Services Reports, providing supportive services, administering drug tests and clerical duties. Serves as initial contact between the general public and the Children and Family Division.

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Sociology, Social Science, or another related field preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience working in the human services field required, preferably with children and families. Knowledge and proficient use of computer systems, Microsoft Office programs. Possess and maintain valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and have access to transportation suitable to complete necessary work out of the office, including transporting clients. 2023 Starting Wage: $19.15 – $21.88 and includes excellent County benefits package and State retirement.
