POSITION SUMMARY:
Clinical supervision is provided by Mental Health Professionals in a collaborative working relationship to help improve the service facilitator’s work with recipients; ensuring recipient welfare; supporting service facilitators in relation to their clinical work and supporting the service facilitator’s professional development. Clinical supervision is concerned with teaching the knowledge, skills, and attitudes important to clinical tasks. The Mental Health Professional may act as a teacher, coach, mentor, role model and/or advisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Serves as a clinical supervisor for social workers assigned to the Comprehensive Community Services Team. Provide staff with ongoing assistance for day-to-day issues, as well as crisis situations.
• Communicates with service providers as needed to ensure client services are being provided.
• Enhances the Facilitator’s clinical skills, competence and confidence, providing a reflective space if needed.
• Assists with professional development of staff members.
• Ensures services to recipients are clinically necessary, safe, and ethical; and ensures compliance with professional and organizational treatment standards of practice.
• Discusses recipient’s needs and works with service facilitators to help facilitate growth and movement towards recovery.
• Assigns, directs, and trains staff work on clinical components. Provides ongoing feedback and support regarding areas of need and potential strategies for improvement.
• Assists the Clinical Director in ensuring oversight of services provided, as assigned.
• Conducts Weekly client staffing’s, reviewing client treatment and progress.
• Signs off on client documentation/authorizes treatment services upon review. Assure the plans promote the family vision, utilize functional strengths, identify appropriate needs and clearly related strategies.
• Provides information, education and support to client’s family members and collaterals, assisting in intervention planning activities as needed.
• Attends Recovery meetings to support Service Facilitators and their recipients.
• Works with CCS workgroup at their weekly meetings, focusing on program continuous improvement.
• Maintains a complete record for all assigned cases; completes required written assessments, reports, and other related paperwork/documentation as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree in social work, clinical psychology, or related program.
• Three years’ experience working in a clinic setting with clients, including coordination of services.
• State of Wisconsin Clinical Social Worker, Marriage or Family Therapist, Professional Counselor License, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, or Psychologist.
• Substance Abuse Counselor license preferred.
• Must successfully pass criminal and caregiver background check.

Full Pay Range: $65,598 – $88,310
Expected Pay Range: $65,598 – $73,494
