Jackson County is seeking candidates for a Justice Systems Coordinator position. This position provides logistical support to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC), as well as all grant administration and documentation of the TAD Post-Charge Diversion Program, and serves as coordinator for the Adult Treatment Court (ATC). In this role, the employee manages confidential information and is responsible for
incorporating concepts of continuous quality improvement
and implementation of evidence-based practices. It requires on-going collaboration with governmental, judicial, and private agencies to coordinate services and assist in the resolution of problems, questions, or requests related to services provided.
It participates in Treatment Court services, including pre-screening offenders for placement into appropriate
programming,assisting in drug screening sample collection and compiling data to ensure fidelity to evidence based treatment court standards is maintained and to provide analytics
demonstrating effectiveness as it relates to recidivism and other relevant metrics. Overall the position requires a self-
motivated individual with an understanding of addiction and treatment court principles who has a thorough knowledge of local criminal justice systems, county government, their
agencies and processes.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in criminal justice or related field from an accredited school, preferred. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the criminal justice system involving law enforcement, mental health, AODA, human services, and/or education fields which includes three (3) years’experience working with external resources and ancillary services. Experience in researching, writing and administration of grants is highly desired. Must possess and maintain valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and have access to transportation suitable to complete necessary work out of the office.
Salary & Benefits: Wage Range: $22.67 – $25.91 plus an excellent County benefit package which includes the State retirement plan.
