Custodian

Chippewa County is accepting applications for a full-time, second shift Custodian position within the Department of Administration – Facilities and Parks Division. The job duties of the Custodian could include but are not limited to performing general building custodial duties, grounds upkeep, move furniture and assist with setting up rooms for meetings. The primary work location is at the Courthouse and the Law Enforcement Center as assigned. The schedule for this position is primarily Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Two (2) years custodial experience preferred. Two (2) years maintenance experience preferred. A valid Driver’s License is required. Must be able to work flexible hours, which may include overtime and weekend work, to meet the demands of the job. Wage: $14.23 – $15.66 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $19.58 per hour.
