Corrections Officer

CORRECTIONS OFFICER—Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking candidates for our Corrections Division. A wide variety of tasks are connected with operation of the jail. Work involves operation of the jail, safety and security of the prisoners, receipt and accurate transmission of jail radio, telephone, and various clerical functions in the jail. This position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent, Valid Driver’s License, WI Jailer Certification is preferred but not required at hire. You will have to successfully complete this certification within one year of hire.

This position is a FT 40 hours per week position. Starting Salary $24.74 per hour (NOTE: New Hire with prior experience may be hired at higher wage) plus fringe benefits.
