Social Worker – CPS
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for vacant social work positions in our Access/Initial Assessment CPS Unit and CPS Ongoing CPS services. The employees will provide a variety of case management services to children and families in the child protective services (CPS) area. Social Work services ensure the safety and well-being of youth, strengthen families and keep the community safe.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or closely related field. Must also be certified as a Social Worker by the State of Wisconsin Examining Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors; OR become certified within 6 months of employment.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a driver’s license and a driving record that meets County standards; OR ability to obtain reliable transportation.
COMPENSATION:
Starting salary range (C42): Minimum $54,263 ($26.09/hour) – Control Point $65,116 ($31.31/hour)
