POSITION SUMMARY:
The ADRC-CW Executive Director is responsible for advocacy, planning, coordination, operation and administration of all Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) and Aging programs designed to meet the needs of elderly and adult disabled individuals in Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon and Wood Counties. The Executive Director supervises and manages the operations of the ADRC-CW organization. The work involves extensive contact with area service providers, community leaders, government officials, and other critical community partners. Travel is expected throughout the four county region. The Executive Director’s home office could be located in any one of the five ADRC-CW offices located in Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Merrill, or Antigo. The position reports to the ADRC-CW Board.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Human Services, or related field and five years of experience working in human services programs, with a minimum of three (3) years in a management position. Master’s Degree preferred. Experience working with ADRC client populations preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets County standards; OR ability to obtain reliable transportation as needed.
