Juvenile Clerk
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position serves as the Juvenile Clerk and is responsible for administration of juvenile matters pertaining to Wisconsin State Statutes Chapters 48 & 938. This position also serves as the court appointed Deputy Register in Probate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree as a legal secretary, four years legal secretarial experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
The 2022 wage range for this full-time (80 hours bi-weekly), non-exempt position is $19.85 per hour to $25.53 per hour (step 16). The expected starting hourly wage is $19.85 per hour to $22.69 per hour (step 6), depending upon qualifications. Trempealeau County’s compensation plan considers annual wage step increases. Position to commence January 2022.
