Dog Care Attendant

Monroe County’s Dog Shelter is seeking Dog Care Attendants. Hours vary and schedules are flexible with work availability needed on any day of the week, including weekends (no guaranteed hours). Prefer hands-on experience working with animals and the public. Valid driver’s license is required.

Duties include handling, caring, and feeding of dogs; kennel cleaning; waiting on customers both in person and over the phone; and office work.

Salary $9.50/hr. for office shifts and $10.50/hr. for cleaning shifts, no benefits.
