Economic Support Lead Worker/Trainer
Oconto County Department of Health & Human Services has an exciting employment opportunity and a chance to make a difference; all while preserving a strong work-life balance. Our Economic Support Division is looking for a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team! Minimum requirements are an Associate’s degree in accounting, Human Service, Business Administration or related field, plus two years’ experience as a Wisconsin Economic Support Worker.
This position determines eligibility for Economic Support programs including Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, Food Share and Child Care. Duties include but are not limited to interviewing consumers, collecting data, and computing budgets; recording and documenting information; and accessing, preparing and inputting all data into a statewide computer processing system. In addition, this position develops and conducts training courses on new policies and procedures and refresher trainings on current policies and procedures for all Economic Support Workers. Individual will also train new employees and monitor their training progress.
This position works 37.5 hours per week with a starting wage of $24.09 per hour, and an excellent fringe benefit package. Finalists will be required to undergo a detailed background check.
