Richland County Health and Human Services has a full-time opening for a Social Worker in our Behavioral Health Services Unit providing mental health treatment service facilitation in a community setting. Duties include maintaining a client treatment caseload, providing emergency mental health services, Elder Abuse and Adult-at-Risk services, conducting assessments, and coordination with court systems.

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required. State Social Worker certification or eligibility is required, and two years of experience working with elders or persons with disabilities and experience with Chapter 54 and 55 of the Wisconsin Statutes preferred. A valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation is required and local availability for emergency on-call rotation may also be required. The wage range for this 40-hr/week certified Social Worker position is $20.68-$21.62 per hour with county health, retirement, and other fringe benefits. (starting wage for non-certified applicant is $18.99 per hour which increases to $19.42-$19.85 after probation).
