Client Technician I – Technology Services

The Oconto County Technology Services (T.S.) Department is accepting applications for the full-time position of Client Technician I. Primary responsibilities include:

Entry-level customer service and tier 1 technical support, assisting in the general support of the County’s client technology devices. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading client devices such as PC’s, smartphones, projectors, printers, etc. as well as providing end-user training and assistance where required.

Working towards or having and Associate’s Degree in microcomputers, computer science, networking or other related field. Knowledge of and experience in supporting client devices. Alternatively, any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.

Starting pay is $19.94 per hour. Finalists may be required to undergo a detailed background investigation. A full job description is available on the county website.
