Land Resources Manager

The team of the Waukesha County Department of Parks and Land Use is recognized as a leader in continually improving the services provided to businesses and residents of Waukesha County. We are recruiting for a talented Land Resources Manager to join our leadership team.
Successful candidates must possess excellent problem solving, process improvement, and project management skills; have strong collaborative skills and customer service focus; and demonstrate strengths-based leadership approach.
The Land Resources Manager reports to the Director of Parks and Land Use and is responsible for the planning, coordination and administration of County development, direction, and coordination of County, State, and Federal land and water conservation programs, Countywide integrated solid waste management system, including a collaborative materials recycling facility with the City of Milwaukee, and a Countywide land information system.
The Department of Parks and Land Use – Land Resources Division has an operating budget of $5.8 million and approximately 15 full-time equivalent employees.
