2026 County Officials Workshops Coming Soon

County Officials Workshops (COWS) are one-day workshops that provide a unique opportunity for newly elected county government officials and veterans of the county board to learn from experienced educators about best practices and how to avoid the pitfalls of governance.

COWS are brought to you by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension’s Local Government Education Program and the Wisconsin Counties Association. The cost to attend is $75. The in-person program runs from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
