2019-20 WCA Legislative Agenda Released
With elections over and a new legislative session around the corner, the Wisconsin Counties Association has released their 2019-2020 WCA Legislative Agenda.
The Wisconsin Counties Association’s (WCA) legislative agenda is approved
by the board of directors and published every two years in preparation for the
upcoming legislative session. This document outlines the association’s priorities
for the legislative session.
While many of these items require additional state investment, those investments
pay dividends. Counties are committed to using state resources to improve the
state’s economy and infrastructure for the betterment of Wisconsin citizens,
businesses, and the state itself.
The document, approved by the WCA Board of Directors in August 2018, will be the roadmap for lobbying and advocacy efforts in the upcoming legislative session, which begins January of 2019.
